“I´m recently discovering the magic of portraits”

I was born in Bilbao (Spain)

Robert Doisneau was my inspiration to start in the world of photography. He had an amazing way of delivering reality bites of the society.

It was in 2000, when I moved to the UK, that I bought my first real camera, a  Minolta Dinax5. I started to shoot everything I saw.

It was obviously not the best approach, since I wasn’t improving much, so after a year or so, I sold that camera and bought a Canon EOS 30. Also about that time, I decided to be more focused in my way of learning about photography. I read several books on technique and started to analyze my errors. It really helped me improve.

In 2003 I joined professional photographer Lee Frost and a group of fellow enthusiasts on a trip to Morocco. It was one of the best trips of my life; mainly because of the landscapes, the people and their laid back approach to life.

The rest as they say is history. Exhibited in London in 2005 and have been doing photography ever since.

Within Photography I’ve always preferred landscape and cities, although I’m recently discovering the magic of portraits.
